Culture in Rothenburg

The Old Rothenburg Association, has been trying to maintain the monuments and preserve the cityscape of Rothenburg for over 110 years. Although Rothenburg lives and feeds on its building substance like hardly any other city, the controversy surrounding the protection of this substance is still extremely violent today.

If you are traveling with the camera and would like to look behind the medieval motifs, a look at the sides of the association is recommended, which explains incredibly profoundly, e.g. in the maintenance of the roof landscape and why e.g. industrially fired bricks are not as good as the old on.
